Analee Pepper

Analee Pepper is a California-born feminist researcher and practitioner. She began pursuing her interest in the practical application of feminist theory in high school after being introduced to the work of Jackson Katz, and went on to earn her BA degree in International Development Studies with a specialisation in Women's Studies from UCLA. She then earned an MA degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute (HEID), where she conducted the research included in this paper on integrating gender into early warning systems, and which built up to her master's thesis on the same topic. Today, Analee is a gender expert practitioner, consulting for UN agencies and NGOs to improve how firms approach gender and apply an appropriate awareness of gender dynamics to development and humanitarian programming.
